Scotch Eighties is located south and west from Charleston and Rancho on the west side. It is around 1 1/2 miles from Charleston and Las Vegas Blvd. The median size home here is probably around 3,500 sq. ft. The ages of construction vary a great deal from the 1950's to much newer homes. Lots here average around 1/2 acre. This has been considered by many to be one of the most exclusive older neighborhoods in the Las Vegas area. Scotch Eighties is home to many entertainers and political figures. Some other smaller communities in the area that are guard gated include Rancho Bel Air and Rancho Nevada Estates.
