Rhodes Ranch is a 1,500 acre planned golf course community located in the southwest part of the Las Vegas valley. Homes built here surround a 18 hole, Ted Robinson designed golf course. A total of 9 builders have been represented at Rhodes Ranch with only Rhodes Homes continuing to build. Rhodes offers several collections of homes.

At the time of this writing, June 10, 2008, new home sizes range between 1,467 sq. ft to 3,431 sq. ft. and prices range from $259,000 to $451,825. Many of the new offerings now are available at substantially reduced base prices, compared a few months ago. The elevation at Rhodes Ranch ranges from 2,665 ft. to 2,800 ft. above sea level.

As of June 10, 2008, sales activity for resale homes for the last 3 months reflects sales from $209,000 to $2,600,000. 47 homes sold during this 3 month period. Of the 98 properties currently listed, 49 are represented as short sales or bank owned/foreclosures. Note that these sales reflect only those areas of Rhodes Ranch that are behind the guard gate. There are other communities that use the name "Rhodes Ranch" but are outside the gate and do not share in the ambience of this community or the common area amenities.

The golf course, as I understand it, is a privately owned public access golf course. There are no equity or social memberships involved. Local residents receive a discount on golf. There is a recreation facility called the R-Club that is quite impressive at 35,000 sq. ft with exercise areas, basketball and racquetball courts as well as other common area facilities. There has also been the recent addition of a water park. It is however one of the few common area facilities of its kind outside of age restricted communities in this area. The cost of this facility is included in the master plan association fees. Tuscany, on the east side, also built by Rhodes will have a similar facility. The elevation at Rhodes Ranch ranges from 2,665 ft. to 2,800 ft. above sea level.

At total of 5,000 homes are scheduled to be built in 8 collections of homes. Infrastructure has been a problem in the area, however there now is a shopping center with a grocery store just to the north of Rhodes Ranch.
