Northwest Las Vegas Real Estate
The centerpiece of the northwest is Summerlin. Note: Much of the original Summerlin construction was in the northwest, but as the building has continued, it has moved more to the south. With 22,500 acres it is well into its development. When completed Summerlin will feature 25 separate and distinct "villages". It is the fastest growing planned community in the United States and has been for 6 of the last seven years. There are plenty of options here including homes, condos and gated estates. Adjacent to Summerlin is Desert Shores which features man made lakes that are stocked for fishing. Painted Desert is a planned golf course community that is located south and west of the I95 and Ann Rd. Infrastructure has dramatically improved in the northwest with a huge retail complex now open at Centennial and the I95. The new planned community of Providence is located north and west from this retail complex. Providence should open for sale this year An even newer planned community, Kyle Canyon Getaway should be selling the first part of 2007. This is community will be at the junction of state route 95 and highway 157, the road to Mt. Charleston.
