Northeast Las Vegas-real estate
The northeast presents the prospective home buyer with a number of interesting options. Both north and south of Charleston along Hollywood Blvd. are areas of custom homes. They are unique in that they are relatively inexpensive and many offer a magnificent view of the strip. There are a number of tracts here 20 or more years old with also some more contemporary product. There is some new construction, but the area is mostly built-out. The view up here is wonderful. Some of these homes share in that view and the prices are as close to as low as you can find anywhere in the Las Vegas Area. The drive up into this area is short, from the strip, but it is all stop and go up into this area, through some older areas. This is the only area of the valley that is not served by the sSR215 beltway This area is often overlooked by both homebuyers and their Realtors. One potential reason for this is that it is somewhat remote from comparable product found elsewhere.
Whenever is am higher up in this area, around Hollywood Blvd, when I look back towards downtown and the strip, I am amazed at the view. This is at some elevation, but the reason the view is so great is that you are much closer here to the lights of the strip and downtown than you are say in the view areas of Summerlin or Anthem.
