The Lakes - Las Vegas Real Estate
The Lakes is located directly west of the Las Vegas Strip south of Sahara Ave and north of Desert Inn. It is bounded on the east by Durango and on the west by Hualapai. This was one of the first planned communities in Las Vegas with most of the construction completed in the 1980's. It features lakefront properties, custom homes, tract homes and condo's. There is still some custom building going on. It has a lot of esthetic appeal with lakes, jogging trails and such. Very nice.

Very nice and worth a look if you can live with a home built in the 1980's as most of them are. The elevation at The Lakes ranges from 2,614 ft. to 2,882 ft. above sea level.
