homes for sale-property searchThere are two reasons I hesitated to include Green Valley as an area. First, it is, strictly speaking, a suburb of Henderson. Second, it is a planned community and at 8,000 acres will someday be dwarfed by Summerlin's 22,000 acres. I included it because it very much has it's own identity. It has it's own high school, Green Valley High. It's schools, by any objective standard, are very highly rated. Housing options include apartments to private estate homes. This is a mature community but with a lot of contemporary housing. It is also close to the airport as well as "The Strip".
| At he time of this writing, May 3, 2008, sales activity for the last 90 days reflects sales of free standing homes ranging between $160,000 and $1,375,00 with a median price of around $273,000. Condos and townhomes ranged from $99,750 to $284,000. Of the 397 properties currently listed, 139 are represented as short sales or bank owned/foreclosures. |
The elevation at Green Valley ranges from 1,800 ft. to 2,050 ft. above sea level. If you haven't decided on an area Green Valley is definitely worth a look.
