Canyon Gate is a guard gated, golf course community located on the west side of Las Vegas. I'm guessing as to the community size as I can find no reliable data. It is located off of west Sahara just north of Durango. My guess is a little over 500 acres. Clark County tax records show 490 homes. The first homes were occupied in 1989 and most were completed by 1995. The east side of the development features mostly custom homes with production homes on the west side. the golf course and country club is a separate, equity membership situation. Memberships are usually available.
