It is located at Las Vegas Blvd and Serene, about 4 1/2 miles south on the Strip from Tropicana. The first phase consists of 378 units in two buildings. Prices in the first closings ranged from 238,000 to 950,000. At the time of this writing August 12, 2010, 175 units have closed with only one new closing since Jan 2008. There have been 25 sales since January 1, 2010. at prices ranging from $65,000 to $466,589. There are a total of 26 floor plans in all ranging from a one bedroom at 593 sq. ft to a 3 bedroom with a den at 2,413 sq. ft. Resales are available and average $114 per sq. ft. (see above link). Salestraq, at the time of this writing does not show Baca Raton as an active development, selling new. Unit amenities include tile floors, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
Community amenities include two pools, 3 hot tubs, 10,000 sq. ft. clubhouse,
conference/meeting rooms in the lobby of each building, Other high-rise, mid-rise on the south Strip include, One Las Vegas, Manhattan and Park Avenue. This south central location is very convenient to the Strip, airport area as well as giving convenient access to both the east and west side of the valley on the close-by 215 beltway. This is a caveat I would apply to all those local high-rise communities still selling new. There may be some jeopardy here. See my concerns on my high-rise directory page.
