    4 Nifty Things To Do In Las Vegas
    ( that you probably won't find in the guide books )

    1. Spring Mountain State Park Concert Series - Go west on Charleston a few miles, past Red Rock Recreation Area, and you will find Spring Mountain State Park. It's summer concert series is an experience not to be missed. Bring your blanket sit under the stars and enjoy a Broadway style production. This is not neighborhood theatre, these productions are first rate. All at the cost of $10.00. When I am there I never fail to reflect that there are many others down below, along the strip, who are paying much more for much less. Go a little early and explore the ranch itself, it's very picturesque and has quite a history. For more information call 702-594-PLAY.

    2. The Polo Towers Lounge - South of Caesars Palace, across from the Holiday Inn Boardwalk Casino is Polo Towers. The lounge at the top offers a magnificent view of the strip and the west side. The help is friendly, the drinks are cheap and on Friday nights there is a wonderful free buffet.

    3. Tiffany's Cafe - Just south of the Stratosphere Tower inside the Blue Cross Drug Store is Tiffany's. Do not be put off by the exterior, inside is one great diner. Sit at the counter and watch artists at work. They do not work in oils exactly but in grease. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Note that this restaurant was the primary location for the movie "Lucky You", shot in 2005. This movie features Robert Duval and Drew Barrymore. 

    4. The Peppermill - Wonderful restaurant right on the strip. It is directly across the street from the old Stardust location, about 1/4 mile north of the Fashion Show Mall . Great food and atmosphere. The prices are reasonable. Check out the lounge in the rear, it is a local legend.
